KNEC EXAMS UPDATES. Elementary Primary school teachers would no longer be involved in the administration of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Primary school teachers who had been drafted to invigilate KCSE exams have already been removed off the list of Curriculum Support Officers (CSOS).
Primary school teachers will now be responsible for the:
- Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and
- Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams,
- while secondary school teachers will be responsible for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Junior secondary school (JSS) teachers, on the other hand, will not participate in any national exam invigilation this year.
Knec advises all instructors assigned to conduct KCSE tests to :
- accept their new roles,
- visit the CP2 site, enter their information, and print their deployment letters.
