KNEC examiners training 2023. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will provide training to examiners for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
According to a letter sent on Tuesday, the training will occur between August 13 and August 19, 2023.
Expenses Associated With Examiner Training
Only selected candidates would pay the Sh10,500 training charge, according to KNEC CEO David Njengere.

Applicants will be informed of payment options through Mpesa and online on the portal, according to the CEO of Knec.
He stated that the exercise would only be available to local residents.
Those selected will be informed of the training location after having paid the training cost.

Mr. Njengere further stated that examiners for the KCSE who have received training do not need to apply.

- Kiswahili (Insha, Lugha, Fasihi),
- Mathematics,
- Physics,
- Chemistry,
- Geography,
- Home Science,
- Islamic Religious Education,
- Agriculture,
- French,
- Arabic, and
- Business Studies aplly for the training.
KCSE Examiner Qualifications
Applicants must be working high school teachers in the relevant subject area.
You must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and/or work for them.
He or she must also have a high school diploma or above.
They must have taught for a minimum of three years.
The TSC has never banned or otherwise punished anyone.
Applicants must also have a recommendation from the head of their institution and be under the age of 50.
How to Apply for a Job as a KCSE Examiner
Visit the KNEC portal www.examinersapp.ac.ke
If one has the Cp2 account, use your phone number as your username eg2547……… and enter the password correctly to login.
If you are new, you must create a new Cp2 account and update the required details.
After successful login, click on the Apply button to apply as a Examiner.
From the drop down list of subjects, Choose the subject and click continue.
