Currently, all primary and secondary schools in Kenya are diligently preparing students for their end-of-term examinations,

The government carefully plans academic terms and schedules, which all primary and secondary institutions are required to follow.
Overseeing the education system is the Ministry of Education, led by Professor Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki.
The Ministry of Education is responsible for creating the academic calendar and,
distributing it to all primary and secondary schools for implementation.
MoE revised term dates
According to the current academic calendar, all primary and secondary schools in Kenya will close on November 3, 2023.
On this date, primary and secondary schools will release their students for the extended December holiday, lasting for two consecutive months.
The KCPE (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) exams are set to begin on November 6, 2023, and conclude on November 9, 2023.
Following that, the KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) exams are scheduled to start on November 10, 2023, and finish on December 1, 2023.
The evaluation of these two national examinations will take place from December 4, 2023, to December 22, 2023,
