According to the most recent notice, there are 2,000 seats for primary schools and 18,000 spots for junior secondary schools.

On Wednesday, July 5, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) advertised 20,000 teaching posts.
There are 18,000 positions available in junior secondary schools and 2,000 positions available in primary schools.

According to the commission’s job description, the interns will be distributed over 47 counties, with 758 intern teachers assigned to Kitui County.

Salary payment is as follows :
Primary intern 15,000
JSS intern 20,000
During the fiscal year 2023-2024, the position will last a year.
It attempts to place registered teachers who are out of job in school settings where they can receive
coaching,
mentoring, and
real-world teaching experience in order to improve their teaching skills.
Requirements for JSS interns
The individual must be a Kenyan citizen.
You must have a diploma in education and a minimum mean grade of C+ (plus) in two teaching topics.
TSC registration certificate is mandatory.
