Revised Updated KCSE and KCPE timetables 2023 PDF download

KCSE timetable 2023. The Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC, has published the KCSE timetable for 2023.

To combat exam cheating, the council has made significant modifications, particularly to the time of the second papers.

Here is  a rundown of the changes:

Exams for the KCSE will now begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Previously, tests began at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.

2023 KNEC Updated Timetable

The Kenya National Examination Council has announced the dates for this year’s national exams in accordance with the Knec timeline for KCPE.

According to the council, the KCPE rehearsal will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023.

The actual tests will start on Monday, October 30, 2023, and go through to Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

KCSE timetable 2023

On the first day, each candidate will take a math and English paper.

Students will take science and Kiswahili assessments on the second day, then social studies and religious education paper on Wednesday.

The council advised the candidates to take their assigned seats 15 minutes before the start of the examination.

Each and every morning a paper will commence at 8:30 a.m.

KCPE EXAMINATION RELEASE DATES

The national exam results will be released in November because  marking will be completed and the exact date will be announced

When the test results are made public, students will have to wait until January 2024 to enroll in one of the country’s secondary schools.

This is because the Ministry of Education (MOE)  will open the form one selection portal for the selection exercise.

Students’ Instructions for KCSE Examination

Only in extreme situations, according to KNEC, would a paper be handed to a candidate who is more than 30 minutes late.

Any misconduct or disturbance in the examination room or close by will be viewed as an irregularity during the examination, according to KNEC.

Penalties

A candidate who cheats on an exam will have all of their results for that subject thrown out

This is according to a KNEC warning to all learners.
