This is a product of the government’s efforts to reform the educational system.
In December 2022, TSC announced 14,738 promotion possibilities, but these posts were eventually cancelled.
Delays occurred in January, March, and May as a result of a lack of registered teachers.
The majority of teachers who interviewed for promotions in March were returned to their original districts.
TSC executives say teachers are the reason some promoted jobs advertised in some districts are not being filled.
According to the TSC’s chief, the commission issued a notification earlier this year for 14,738 opportunities for teachers to be promoted to different levels to cover the vacancies left by teachers who have resigned.

However, only 11,231 teachers were employed, leaving 3,507 open due to a shortage of suitable candidates.
Active teachers qualified for a total of 1,021 posts.
TSC has published job openings for principals, vice principals, masters, principals, and senior instructors.
