TSC issues clarification on Why Recruitment Portal is Not Working

TSC application link 2023. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has clarified the issues with the malfunctioning primary and junior high school teacher recruitment online application system.

On Wednesday, July 5, the commission announced 20,000 openings for intern instructors in both primary schools (2,000) and junior secondary schools (18,000).

The internship is intended for registered teachers who are unemployed and will be placed in educational settings where they will receive coaching, mentoring, and opportunities to gain first-hand teaching experience.

Applying for TSC Internship Positions

• Visit the TSC website by clicking the following link: http://hrmis.tsc.go.ke.
• Search for and select the “Careers” option from the menu on the website. Pick “Teachers/Secretariat” from the drop-down option next.
• Find and select the “Apply for Teachers Internship Position” option once you are on the Teachers/Secretariat page.
• Find and select the “Apply for Teachers Internship Position” option once you are on the Teachers/Secretariat page.
• You will see a screen where you must input your TSC, ID, and mobile numbers.
• Click the dropdown menu to make your pick, either primary or secondary.
• After providing the necessary details, click “OK.”
• On your mobile number, TSC will send you an SMS. Enter the SMS code you were sent, then hit “OK.”
• To continue with your application, click “Apply/View” on the screen that is presented. Complete all relevant fields with accuracy.
• The reference (Ref) can be selected from the dropdown list as displayed. Any more information should be filled in before clicking “OK.”
• To apply to a school, click the “+Click here” button.
• Choose the appropriate drop-down menus for the subjects, county, sub-county, and school. Select what you want, then click “OK.”
• By repeating steps 8 and 9 for each school you want to apply to, you can submit applications for multiple positions.
• A pop-up screen with the headline “Job Application” will display once you have submitted your applications for all of the required positions.
• To submit your application, select “Yes”.
