TSC CBC training 2023 TSC CBC training 2023 . The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is set to launch a training program for junior secondary school tutors starting next month.
Teachers will receive training in Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and Competency Based Assessment (CBA).
The Commission has listed teachers of :

For training in a document dated September 26th, addressed to TSC Regional and County Directors.
Teachers will receive training in Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) and other designated county locations.
The teacher training will start from 9th to13th October 2023.
The Master Trainer and Trainer of Trainers (TOT) training will commence earlier.
Kenya Institute of Special Education will host a training session for Master Trainers from various organizations on October 2nd.

The trainers will be TSC, KICD, KNEC, KEMI, CEMASTEA, MOE, KISE and TTCs
The TOTs (both SNE and normal) will thereafter be trained by Master Trainers.
TOT training will begin on October 6th and 7th in Teacher Training Colleges and other selected county venues.
Curriculum Support employees (CSOs),
Teacher Educators (Tutors),
TSC Sub County Directors,and
Ministry of Education quality assurance employees are also examples of TOTs.
The training of all participants will be done face to face.

The training of the teachers comes after TSC posted 18,000 intern teachers to junior secondary in late August and early September.
The instruction also comes as Grade 7 students prepare to begin their national writing evaluation in October.
Grade 7 subjects with written exams
Compulsory and optional subjects with written exams for Grade 7 learners.
The tests will run from 2nd October to 26th October 2023.
