TSC promotions. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has distributed at least 1,900 promotional letters to county school officials.
A number of counties have already begun to send posting letters to property owners. There have been delays in disseminating the letters since the interviews were completed.
The newly posted instructors received their letters early, allowing them to report to their new station and begin working the following term.

TSC advertised for 14,738 teaching positions in December 2022 before withdrawing the posting.

it called for additional applications in January of this year, March, and May.
Letters for instructors who applied to be senior teachers have not yet been released by the Commission.
Some teachers were serving in an interim capacity as senior teachers and are awaiting confirmation.
The bulk of the teachers who participated in promotion interviews in March and were chosen for the positions they applied for have not yet been posted, according to the TSC database, which is also accessible in county and subcounty directors offices.
A top TSC official blamed the delays on a paucity of finances, which were supplied in chunks by the Treasury.

TSC CEO Nancy Macharia has blamed teachers for not being promoted and for their own stagnation.
She charged instructors with being unwilling to apply for promotions in neighbouring counties.
The TSC chief stated that the commission published 14,738 openings earlier this year for the promotion of teachers to different grades to cover positions arising from natural attrition.

However, only 11,231 teachers were hired, with 3,507 positions going unfilled due to a lack of suitable applications. A total of 1,021 positions were designated for affirmative action teachers.
For both regular and special schools, TSC advertised for the positions of chief principal, principal, deputy principal, senior master, headteacher, deputy headteacher and senior teacher.
