The intern teachers’ fate was sealed when TSC announced that they would be confirmed on permanent terms in 2025.

Many intern instructors were taken aback when TSC announced that they will be hired on permanent contracts in 2025.

Previously, TSC hired intern teachers and then transferred them to the pnp payroll after a year.
The paradigm shift, however, can be linked to the large number of intern teachers hired by the Commission, as well as the country’s struggling economy.
TSC intends to hire another 20,000 intern teachers to assist with the Grade 8 class, which begins in January of next year.
