TSC promotion interviews 2023. After a technical issue made the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) portal unavailable since Monday Last week teachers have were given an extra week to submit their applications for promotions.
The grace period of promotion application process lapsed yesterday 15th
The Commission will begin interviewing teachers in each county.
The interview schedule is yet to be provided as TSC is yet to combine the list of successful applicants to be interviewed.
A number of instructors who were transferred from their jobs expressed concern after having problems with their applications.
The teachers’ TMIS records still show them as being at their old schools.

Previous schools also had TPADs.
Teachers must use the online application to submit their TPAD scores for 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Requirements for the TSC Interviews 2023
During the physical interview sessions, applicants will be expected to show the following papers.
1. Original National ID card
2. Original Academic and Professional Certificate
3. Letter of appointment to the current grade
4. Letter of appointment to the current post
5. Analysed individual subject results in KCSE examination for the last three years, certified by TSC CD/SCD
6. Performance Appraisal Report for 2020, 2021, 2022
7. Any other relevant testimonials supporting your performance

- Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

A citizen who have served the child and employer for more than 5 years should just be promoted to the next grade but in Kenya this may or may not happen. You can be in the same grade for years whether motivation very low.
Please consider Kenyan teacher life is very hard down here. More restrictions more demoralization. Only 70- 80 years God has given us here. Let teachers enjoy their stay in this corrupt world.
Hi during interviews a teacher is required to provide a letter to the current grade which I’ve never seen. I was appointed to the teaching service nine years ago and I was promoted to primary teacher 1 the year 2020 without a promotion letter. Kindly always sensitize newly employed teachers on their rights also when guiding them on duty guidelines, rules and regulations. Thanks.
