TSC July 2023 intern(salaries). The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has published a list of teachers who won’t receive their salaries this month due to failure to meet employment requirements.
This list includes newly hired teachers who haven’t received any salaries because they haven’t submitted their casualty forms.
Newly employed teachers are required to have their casualty forms completed by the head of their institution and themselves,
which should then be sent to TSC headquarters for payroll inclusion.
TSC July 2023 intern(salaries)
After being employed, teachers must report to their duty station within two weeks from the date of posting, and
The head of the institution must promptly submit a Casualty Return to TSC headquarters for the teacher to be added to the payroll.
If the casualty form isn’t filled out correctly and sent to TSC, the teacher will be excluded from the payroll and, consequently, won’t receive their salaries.
TSC July 2023 intern(salaries)
The majority of those affected are the 20,000 intern teachers hired in July 2023 with othe intern teachers remaining unplaced on the payroll as of the end September 2023.
These pending cases are often missing one or two documents or weren’t correctly filed,
This is according to TSC’s head of communications, Beatrice Wababu.
The list of affected teachers contains their TSC numbers, names, work stations, and payroll processing status,
They all indicate that the casualty forms have not been received.
The TSC payroll is typically closed by the 15th of every month, and
The teachers can then expect to receive their salaries from the 20th onward.
This is a big problem to these teachers as they are struggling to survive without any cash because of the economy.
We are hoping that TSC is working around the clock so that all these teachers receive their salaries this month.
The commission is still providing services at its headquarters, and
teachers can contact them via email (info@tsc.go.ke) or the hotlines 0722208552 and 0777208552.
