Due to this, TSC has highlighted the most favored category of teachers to benefit from the planned hiking of teachers’ salaries.
1. Newly promoted teachers to next job groups
Every teacher who was promoted to the new job group and missed being paid will receive a boom, in salary.
TSC hired more than 35,500 teachers in January but most of them are yet to receive their salaries.
Out of the 35,500 teachers, 17,800 have not yet received their salaries.
Some of these teachers received their boom salaries with a small number missing their boom.
2. Any teachers having pending arrears
All teachers having pending arrears will receive payments from the teaching service commission.
For example, all teachers in hardship areas have yet to receive their hardship allowances for some months because most of the schools missed school; codes.
All these teachers will receive their areas once listed in the hardship areas.

All primary teachers with upgraded diplomas deployed to teach grade seven learners will receive their monies arrears.
Most of the teachers received this month’s salaries without the arrears.
In February most of these teachers accepted the deployment to primary schools to assist in the teaching of grade 7 learners.
All their documents were verified at the sub-county level because TSC mandates all the directors to carry out the exercise.
Teacher Service Commission received 10,833 deployment applications from P1 teachers.
Out of the 10,833, 7400 teachers qualified and TSC posted them successfully to primary schools.
4. Newly Recruited JSS Teachers who missed their arrears will receive payments because they are in arrears since it is not in order because all teachers employed by TSC must receive their payments
