TSC promotion list(C1) teachers. The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has shortlisted 86,000 C1 teachers for promotion to grade C2, Senior Teacher II (T-Scale 7).
These teachers are vying for 10,819 slots in regular primary schools and 700 slots in special schools.
The promotion interviews are scheduled from December 4th to 15th, 2023, and will take place at various Sub-county venues selected by TSC.

In August 2023, the Commission advertised 36,275 promotion slots from job group C1 to D5.
Priority may be given to senior teachers with proof and those who upgraded from PTE certificates to Diploma or Degree.
The TSC score guide will be used to award interview marks, and teachers have received invitation letters indicating the interview date and venue.

Nearly 150,000 teachers were shortlisted for promotion interviews after submitting online applications by September 15th.
C1 teachers competing for promotion must bring essential documents, including
letters of appointment,
analyzed subject results for the last three years,
performance appraisal reports,
National ID card,
academic and professional certificates, and other relevant testimonials.
Successful candidates need to provide five chapter six documents before confirmation.
