How to apply For TSC Replacement Vacancies Online
The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has started a massive teacher recruiting drive.
The contracts for the hired teachers will be long-term and pensionable.
TSC advised suitable applicants to submit their applications online at either teachersonline.tsc.go.ke or www.tsc.go.ke under “Careers,” the Commission’s website.
Every applicant needs a TSC number and to be a citizen of Kenya.
Candidates should register on the TSC Online website, teachersonline.tsc.go.ke, if they are interested.
Teachers must update their academic qualifications, which must contain :
primary and secondary school certifications
as well as higher level certificates, in order to register an account.
Applicants for primary school employment must have:
- a Primary Teacher Education (PTE)
- Certificate (P1 certificate) from KNEC or
- a Bachelors of Education degree (Primary education) from a Kenyan government-recognized university (with two teaching disciplines).
Secondary school instructors must have a Diploma in Education from a certified teacher training institution.
They must have a minimum of two teaching topic credit passes and a minimum mean grade of C+ in the KCSE or its equivalent (one principle and two subsidiaries at A-level).
