TSC PROMOTIONAL LIST 2023.At least 1,900 promotional letters from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) have been given to local school administrators.
Property owners are already receiving posting notices from a number of counties. Since the interviews were over, the letters haven’t been distributed right away.
Early delivery of their letters allowed the newly posted instructors to report to their new location and start working the following term.

This was the month of January, March and may 2023.
Interviews were carried out after shortlisting was done.
Till today instructors who were interviewed under senior teachers category have not yet received letters.
Most of the teachers are serving as interim heads in the positions waiting to be confirmed by the commission.
The category of teachers who participated in promotion interviews in March and may who the commission chose have not yet posted according to reports.
This data of teachers waiting their posting letters is also accessible by the TSC County and sub county directors across the country.
All these delays of failing to release the letters is due to the lack of finances the commission of facing.
The Promotion of teachers to senior posts will be in steps because of financial crisis.
TSC CEO Nancy Macharia has blamed teachers for not being promoted and for their own stagnation due to their failure of applications.
The TSC chief stated that the commission published 14,738 openings earlier this year for the promotion of teachers to different grades to cover positions arising from natural attrition.

TSC promotions
However, only 11,231 teachers were hired, with 3,507 positions going unfilled due to a lack of suitable applications. A total of 1,021 positions were designated for affirmative action teachers.
For both regular and special schools, TSC advertised for the positions of chief principal, principal, deputy principal, senior master, headteacher, deputy headteacher and senior teacher.

Recently TSC advertised over 36,000 promotional slots of all teacher in every job groups.
This after the government allocated the commission finances to carry out the exercise.
The application process was closed on Friday 15th, September 2023 after an extension of one week further.
The earlier deadline was 8th Friday 2023,but the commission extended the period because of technical hitch that was caused by countrywide blackout.
All applicants are very optimistic of receiving the interview messages from TSC as they prepare themselves for the interview exercise.
