Where the instructor works affects the house allowance.
- House allowance of KES 16,500 for Nairobi-based teachers.
- Teachers working in Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Nyeri, Eldoret, Thika, Kisii, Malindi, and Kitale will receive a house allowance of KES 12,800.
- For teachers working in other former municipalities, a housing allowance of KES 9,600 is provided.
- For teachers working in other places, a house allowance of KES 7,500 is provided.
